Auctioneer’s Note: Ms Allred’s father was C Z Whitaker, formerly the music director at Oak Ridge Institute(now know as Oak Ridge Military Academy. He also owned and operated Whitaker’s General Store in Oak Ridge. C Z published the Oak Leaf newspaper and founded the Horse Sense newspaper in Oak Ridge. There are items from the Whitaker family in this estate.
